    As Marketing Manager, you’ll work to help us drive compelling campaigns, develop strong marketing strategies and design effective content plans. You balance both creative and analytical, and have your eye on everything from market trends and how they’re impacting our business to how our campaign efforts are performing and ideas for improvement.

    Organised, self aware and a great writer you’ll be the lynchpin for all of our content, from case studies to mailers to awards entries. 

    You’re often the first point of contact with our agency, whether that’s with prospects, new clients or Ogilvy and WPP partners and are known for being a natural communicator - you love being at the heart of our marketing and new business efforts!
     

    Responsibilities:

    • Helping us to plan and execute the marketing strategy including content planning and creation
    • Managing our inbound new business including initial screening of prospects through to supporting pitch teams as necessary
    • Preparation of RFI and RFP responses including working with Client Services, Planning, Creative and Finance to plan and pull together content
    • Managing our social media accounts in line with our marketing strategy
    • End to end management of our awards process, from mapping out deadlines to helping plan and prepare entries
    • Planning and coordinating our client events
    • Managing our web site, including general updates as well as SEO, analysis and reporting
    • Managing all other online brand touchpoints – eg Ogilvy website, WPP directory
    • Maintaining our client database, ensuring it is up to date and compliant with regulations
    • Ensuring our case studies are up to date
    • Managing our new business reporting across Coley’s, Ogilvy and WPP
    • Maintaining our library of brand assets, working cross-department to ensure we have the correct templates and other assets available
    • Building relationships with internal teams across Coley’s, Ogilvy and WPP
    • Being the trusted point of contact with our PR agency, managing them day to day and coordinating development of PR content from across the CPB team. Maximising the use of all PR content across our channels
    • Managing PR releases to WPP The Wire and to Ogilvy channels (weekly round up etc)
    • Knowing the capabilities available to us from our partners at Ogilvy/WPP and when to bring them in
    • Understanding how to apply our learnings from neuroscience to the day to day work
    • Working with the broader team to make sure that we have a marketing and new business culture throughout the agency

    You are great at...

    We’re looking for someone with:

    • Minimum three years in a Marketing Executive role, either agency side or client side
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, for presentations, proposals and general copywriting
    • Strong command of English and grammar
    • Fluency in MS Office – Powerpoint in particular
    • A proven track record of exceptional performance and high productivity
    • A confident, articulate communication style
    • A solid understanding of social media and how to leverage different platforms as part of a marketing strategy
