    Ogilvy Consulting is the strategy and innovation arm of The Ogilvy Group. An enterprise-wide offer, we provide advisory services across Growth & Innovation, Business Design and Digital Transformation. We also have a host of specialty practices ranging from Behavioral Science and Futurecasting to BioTech Innovation and Health & Wellness.     We are positioned as the strategic advisors to the C-Suite on all aspects of brand, marketing and business growth. We also work with other teams across Ogilvy and WPP, including visual identity, public relations and, of course, marketing communications and advertising as well as client teams and industry practices, such as Automotive, Telecoms and many more.

     

    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong interest in marketing, brand, innovation and digital, who is eager to take on wide-ranging responsibilities and is motivated to excel within an entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should aspire to be an advisor to business leaders and strong analytical, research and presentation development skills (both written and spoken) and a highly proactive attitude.     Responsibilities:

    Analysts play an integral role in all aspects of client engagements by:

    • Performing desktop research
    • Analyzing industry and competitor trends
    • Auditing all aspects of a brand – from heritage to strategy to visual identity to experience and marketing communications
    • Participating in interviews and work sessions
    • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses
    • Designing and analyzing market research
    • Communicating with clients
    • Developing strategic recommendations and creating client presentations

    Qualifications and critical skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier university, with a strong academic background
    • 1 year of experience (including internships) in a professional services company or marketing organization preferred but not required
    • Problem solving and hypothesis development
    • Storyboarding and presentation
    • Business acumen and critical thinking
    • Brand savvy-ness; understand the fundamentals of modern marketing and building strong brands in today's world
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team
    • Quick learner with a strong sense of curiosity
    • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, especially in high pressure situations
    • Strong work ethic with superior attention to detail
    • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

     

    Preferred but not essential:

    • Understanding of technology platforms
    • Behavioural science
    • Design thinking
